This content is updated regularly and is aligned with guidance from The Ministry of Health, Zambia. At The Quorum, the safety of our staff and our members are an absolute priority. Hence, we have undertaken stringent best practice measures to give you a safe space to work, stay & play, all whilst embracing the “new normal” with a dedicated COVID-19 Protocols Officer overseeing the processes that have been implemented.
Staff Shifts
- All members of staff are to wear masks at all times when in the building and interacting with members. Temperature checks are conducted when shifts commence with regular intervals to maintain appropriate hand hygiene.
- A dedicated transport vehicle to reduce the reliance on public transport.
Guest arrival procedures
- Mandatory masking up, temperature checks upon entering the building and sanitising stations placed at the entry point of every outlet.
Public Areas
- Regular sanitising and wipe down of surfaces
Guest Rooms
- Thorough clean and sanitising of the rooms before check-in, regular sanitising during stay and deep clean after check-out.
Spa Rooms
- Thorough sanitising pre and post treatment.
- Treatment room doors have the option to be left open but still maintain tranquillity and privacy.
- Therapists are masked up.
Gym Area & Yoga Terrace
- Frequent sanitising of equipment after use. Sanitising sprays to be used by members pre, during and post workout. Locker rooms are thoroughly sanitised.
- Yoga classes are limited to 15 pax to allow for physical distancing. At present and due to hygiene reasons, yogis must bring their own yoga mats
Dining areas
- Tables are spaced out to account for physical distancing and surfaces are frequently sanitised.
